I recently had an amazing dining experience at Pak John Steamboat & BBQ in AEON Mall Shah Alam, and I just had to share it!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The staff were friendly and very attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal.

The variety of food was mind-blowing! From fresh seafood, tender sliced meats, juicy marinated chicken, to a huge selection of vegetables, noodles, and dim sum – there was something for everyone. The BBQ grill and steamboat combo is truly the best of both worlds. I loved grilling my own meat while simmering others in the delicious soup base. Highly recommend the Tom Yum and Kimchi Soup were super flavorful!

What stood out the most was the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The sauces section was also a highlight, with many choices to mix and match to your liking. And of course, I can’t forget the dessert bar ,the ice cream and waffles were the perfect sweet ending to a satisfying meal.

If you're looking for a satisfying steamboat and grill experience in Shah Alam, Pak John Steamboat is definitely a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the ambience was cozy, clean, and perfect for both family gatherings and casual hangouts with friends. Spacious seating and a welcoming atmosphere made us feel comfortable right away.

The variety of food was incredible — from fresh seafood, marinated meats, premium slices of beef and lamb, to a wide spread of vegetables, noodles, and even dim sum! The highlight for me was the selection of broths, especially the spicy tom yam and the herbal soup – rich in flavor and perfect for dipping.

Not only was the taste spot-on, but the ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. You can tell they put care into quality. Plus, there were cooked options like fried rice, chicken wings, and even desserts like waffles and ice cream to wrap up the meal on a sweet note.

The best part? The price is reasonable for the buffet style, especially considering the wide range of choices. It's truly a great deal for families or groups — you get so much value for what you pay.

i went there 2 times, this is the only outlet i have been too but im very pleased with the service. As someone who worked in retail n f&b previously, i can assure you that it can be very tiring especially during peak or weekend. But both times i went there, i feel happy with their service. Both time they gave free freebies to kid (balloon & duck toy) and so friendly with kids. On the second time i went a group celebrated birthdya and they helped to bring out cake and sang birthday song to them as well. They alwayd check with me if i need anything they can provide. The food choice for me is just enough. Some beef type, some seafood, some fried things. the marinated beef is in bigger chunk as compared to seoul garden and both time i went it tasted sooooo soft! The premium beef was also big portion and thicker cut so you can enjoy it better! The soup was so so but i added their condiments into the soup which makes it more flavorful.
