I-City Park - WaterWorld — Attraction in Shah Alam

Good place to bring your kids. Spacious waterpark area with complete facilities such as washroom, changing room, locker, food kiosk, benches, gazebos and prayer room.

The ticket pricing is quite affordable since there were only like 4 types of slides, kids play area, jacuzzi, river and wavy pool. RM45 for adults and RM35 for kids above 90cm. Free admission for kids below 90cm. You can pay using the i-City SuperApp and pay by cash or card at the counter.

Outside foods and drinks are not allowed. Staff will check your bag at the entrance gate. There was only one food kiosk inside the premise and the pricing is somehow acceptable for this kind of attraction area. Hot Milo/White Coffee/Nescafe for RM3, set of Nasi Lemak/Mee Goreng with one drink cost RM8, Chicken Nuggets/Fishball cost RM7/8 for 6-8 pieces. Mineral water sold at RM3, Ice creams varied from RM3 and above. All transaction have to be made within the i-City SuperApp or the QR Code purchased earlier.

There is no need to pay for the tube rental here, you can use it for free and it is keep available nearby the river bridge and the wavy pool area.

For locker rental, you have to pay RM10 for small one and RM20 for large type. It is unlimited open until 5.45pm (last usage time). It is one type of automatic locker using an online system where you have to remember the login (mobile number) and password (6 digits password) to open it. The staff will teach you how to unlock the locker using the monitor. Only for the counter you can pay using cash.

The washroom and changing room is quite a lot and clean as well. There were lots of beaches-like-benches at the side or the pool areas. You can also find few tables and gazebos for seatings. This is as first come first serve basis.

Horrible experience. The staff did check thoroughly for foods / drinks / even plain water that patron brought. Although I did not bring any of those, I feel pity for some of the families who brought contained plain water (around 500ml capacity) which the water cannot get through the gate, only to find out that there are only 2 food stalls available and the queues are very long and tiring.

The staff at ticket counter did not even bother to tell patrons that everything is cashless and you need to topup some kind of points for transactions. So, after queueing for the entrance ticket, I needed to queue again inside the waterpark just to topup the points.

If you think things can't get any worse, let me remind you that unlike some other theme parks with cashless reload system, this waterpark DOES NOT OFFER REFUND for unutilized points! So plan ahead before reloading your points. I still have RM50+ credits since I cannot use due to the long queue at food stalls that I mentioned earlier.

I do agree with another review that the pool areas have sharp parts on the floor caused by missing tiles there. An example of poor maintenance. I guess it goes back to the rule "you get what you paid for".

Bringing a family with loads of bags? Be prepared to rent lots of their "mini-size" lockers. You can't even choose the location of the lockers. If you rent let's say 3 lockers, get ready for an adventure to get to all of the lockers you rent.

Water theme park in i-City which is very suitable for kids to enjoy. Also there are several water attractions that is suitable for adults as well. There are several areas and attractions, where there are 3 main slides attractions, jacuzzi pool, lazy river and 2 pools for toddlers. Overall quite spacious inside.

There are a changing room that includes toilets and shower room. Overall quite clean but some facilities are broken.

They provide locker, small & large size but cost quite expensive; RM10 for small locker room & RM20 for large locker room. You can re-open and close the locker room several times, and need to check out before you leave.

There are food kiosk here. Food are just so-so and the cost is slightly at higher side, but still acceptable. They only accept e-payment using i-City SuperApp. Food cost about RM710 for Nasi lemak, Chicken rice and RM 68 for snacks such as nuggets or packets of sausages. Outside food & drinks are not allowed, where the staffs will scan before entering the theme park. which is I honestly think is pricey for this place.

Overall the staffs here were friendly, helpful, kind and polite. However some staffs might be a little grumpy especially after long working hours.
