TGI Fridays - Central i-City — Restaurant in Shah Alam

We recently celebrated a birthday at TGI Fridays in i-City Mall, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great place for a celebration.

The service was exceptional, especially from James, who was incredibly attentive and provided great menu recommendations. His friendly and professional attitude added to our positive dining experience.

The food was delicious, with the chicken strips being a standout dish—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was satisfying!

A special highlight of the evening was when the TGI Fridays staff gathered to sing a birthday song while presenting the cake. Their enthusiasm and energy made the celebration even more memorable.

At 2.20pm 28 May 2024, i waited infront of the enterance. There are only 4 table were occupied. The other are empty. I waive and called the waiter just look and ignore. After sometime the manager saw us and ask a waiter to give us seats. He just look and ask us to take our own seat. Then he came with menu with "that attitude face". I ask him if he doesn't want to have business or do not want to work because he keep on with the "annoying face". He said he is doing his business with a very unpleasant tone.

I've been a fan to TGIF everywhere on Malaysia since 2006. This is my very first time feeling very dissapointed with the staff attitude. This waiter I am sure not local Malaysian. If you want to keep your business right, you need to train your staff right. I don't think it is a super busy day since this I-City outlet are the least popular TGIF people...

Pretty friendly (a couple of them) staffs. My second visit here, since I enjoyed the first visit. Excellent food here if compared to the other TGIFs' branches especially the One Utama branch.

The quality of the food in this branch is WAY BETTERRRRR than other branches. Ordered these foods (per photos), and it tastes good! Except the fact that when I placed my dessert order, I told the staff (repeated twice) to bring the dessert after I had finished my last meal.

Unfortunately, I was advised that they had accidentally prepared the dessert first (made no sense to me, cause dessert is always the last meal). So I guess they must have placed the dessert in the freezer and served it the last cause the entire plate was warm.

Other than the silly mistake, quality of food was good. Also, loved the cosy ambience. Will sure...
