Minaret (Munnaaru) of Malé Hukuru Miskiy. The mosque was originally constructed in 1658 AD under the reign of Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar in over two years time, and was constructed mostly out of coral stone. Munnaaru is located near Friday mosque (Hukuru Miskiy) which displays breathtakingly Beautiful coral carvings and expert lacquer work done by Maldivians.
