The Park House — Hotel in Malé

My wife and I had a truly positive experience at The Park House in Malé, finding it to be excellent value for money. The hotel's location is a definite highlight, providing a safe and convenient base for exploring the city on foot. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks around Malé, always feeling secure as we navigated back to the hotel.|Regarding the rooms, it's important to set realistic expectations; you're not paying for five-star luxury, but for the price, they offer exceptional value. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited our needs, truly delivering on the "value for money" aspect I've mentioned. The complimentary breakfast and dinner, while being one dish per person, added significantly to the overall value. Furthermore, the staff were incredibly courteous and helpful, even assisting us with currency exchange from USD to Maldivian Rufiyaa. This hotel is Terrible you cannot even call it an hotel they kept us waiting the place is not hygiene people go spitting around even who work there and the lobby is awful the couches look ugly over all the place looks ugly it's not even worth a dollar for a night we wanted to leave all of male because of the hotel actually you can find much better hotels in hulhumale with same price male is not worth visiting. Rooms: clean but are extremely worn the walls are green and the lighting is awful we had red yellow and white lights at the same time the ac is not working well and everything looks not so clean they didn't cost themselves a penny for this place even the toilet seat looked dirty and broken and so near to the wall your legs can't fit 😂😂 Service: is normal Location:very bad your view is of locals homes and the place is so narrow you feel like you'll fall from the stairs they have. Shortly don't waste your money and time...

I have been there 1 night from 12/08/2023 till 13/08/2023. After a long trip from other country unfortunately during check out I forgot brand new perfume Calvin Klein 200ml in the room 307. Once I reached airport, I gave a call to the reception of Park House. Same gentleman from morning shift picked up phone, I explained to him situation… He asked me to call him back in 5 minutes, I called again and he confirmed the find, he said yes. Next 3 days I tried to contact him again to say that staff from Male will come to pick up my perfume… colleagues of him was telling me they will call back… I didn’t get any call back… Nobody didn’t care… Today finally I reached him and he totally change mind, telling me opposite story, saying he didn’t find… So, summary of this story - Perfume (gift from girlfriend) was stolen by the staff of the guesthouse. Be careful from this place, they will steal your stuff...
