Athamaa Palace — Hotel in Malé

Athamaa Restaurant serves indian food, specialized in Kerala style flavor, I tried few dishes there & my feed back 1- Dal fry - Tasteless 2- Pepper chicken masala - full of onion gravy no taste of pepper chicken. 3- Bhindi masala - full of onion gravy and few quantities of bhindi not much to satisfaction. 4- Alo gobhi masala - same case full of onion gravy ( I think chef makes lot onion & masala mux gravy and adds same gravy in all veg items including chicken also). Chiken kizhi Biryani - YES only this item was tasty and full of biryani flavor.. Must try this.. Over all food was 5/10 Service 3/10 ( no body to attend you properly, u have to wait 10/15 minutes before waiter comes to take your order. Atmosphere - ok...

I was on a business trip so this is not myself who book it otherwise I would NEVER stay in such a place, the location is fine, on the main road, upstair of the Indian restaurant. Room is very dirty, killed 7 cockroaches there, towel has been used many years without replacement, bed is uncomfortable since baby cockroach coming to the bed from time to time, smelly room since this is on top of the kitchen, staff are ok but not understanding English very well. You cant feel comfortable in this place at all, all the night I just stay awake to wait for my departure, this is the worst experience...
