Meraki Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Malé

This coffee place is definitely worth a visit for all coffee lovers. The latte was exceptional, with all the flavours coming together in a perfect blend. While the filter coffee was made using the all-in-one method for the Hario Switch and was slightly lighter in body than expected, it still managed to retain all the distinct notes of a quality coffee.

However, I was hoping for a slightly stronger filter coffee. (Probably due to the all in one brew method, I prefer the hybrid method or filter. May be you need to ask the barista for an alternative method).

I'd definitely recommend giving it a try and seeing if it meets your expectations.

The price: compare to other cafes, its worth it as they do serve a neat cup of coffee. Atmosphere: It's a small space, but I would not complain about it.

Visiting cafes big and small is a ritual for me whenever in a new town. Having seen Meraki's social page, I was excited for it as it promised a specialty roastery experience. And our visit exceeded our expectations. Walked into it on a humid Male evening and were delighted with the vibes. Beautiful interiors, the smell of coffee, very cool classic rock playlist (which almost never happens these days especially in cafes which just play sleepy house music) were all a big plus. The barista, Aravind was very sweet and explained the entire menu to us.
