Good small museum funded by donations with interesting exhibits on the past and present of tuna fishing in the area. It has been recently renovated and has a great mix of hands-on exhibits for kids and text signs and models for adults. Also you are allowed on the roof which provides great views of the bay. Well...

nice little Tuna museum, where you learn something about the local fishing industry and how the tunas were caught. the entrance is free and there are interactive augmented reality screens there, which have, unfortunately been not working since covid hit in 2020. thats why...

Museo piccolissimo situato al porticciolo di Mallehia, luogo in cui partono le navi da crociera, è costituito da un piccolo caseggiato, edificato in originaria pietra calcarea, in cui in quattro stanze viene illustrata l'evoluzione della pesca del tonno dal medioevo ai nostri giorni. Sono esposte reti, timoni, armi e rappresentazioni in scala del percorso obbligato che veniva fatto fare al tonno allo stato brado e oggi in allevamento. Non ci sono cartelli o pannelli esplicativi che danno informazioni aggiuntive. Non ha nulla a che vedere con gli analoghi musei italiani (Stintino, Favignana e Scopello).
