Playa Las Perlas — Attraction in Cancún

Affordability: Excellent value for money, especially for young families or those traveling on a strict budget.

Location: Prime beachfront location—right by the sea with easy access to a white sandy beach. Ideal for children to play and for peaceful walks along the shore or if you just want to relax for the day. Great location for water activities.

Staff: Exceptionally friendly team offering great customer service and always willing to help.

Rooms: Spacious and clean, although the furniture is dated. Some maintenance issues exist, such as occasional shower blockages, which could be improved.

Food: Budget-friendly buffet with good variety. A different menu is offered daily, and the all-inclusive option provides better...

This is the first beach we visited while in the hotel zone and there was heaps of sargassum which we knew would be the case but if you keep walking south or take a bus to a further southern beach you will see less and less. This beach was very quiet and a good place to relax. We ended up at Playa Gaviota Azul which had less sargassum for a swim.

The water had a ton of seaweeds and other sea plants in it. It was impossible to avoid it, and if you push it away, more comes because there is just so much, but the beach itself was very nice. There are large umbrellas and public restrooms with toilets, changing rooms, and showers. The water was pretty, and the sand didn't have a lot of large rocks in it, so it was fine to walk on barefoot. There are not a lot of restaurants or attractions nearby, but there are bus stops right outside of the beach going in...
