Chavito Bien Taquería — Restaurant in Cancún

Wow the tacos at Chavito are absolutely delicious. We found the place while walking around after arriving from NYC. We were welcomed by Christian, took a table and the rest is history! We ordered as an appetizer the grilled Nopal cactus, the chicharron guacamole. The nopal could have been grilled a little more, still was very good; but the guacamole was to die for! Absolutely delicious eaten with pork chicharron! Forget the tortillas, their Chicharron Guacamole is the bets! Then we ordered different types of tacos, mostly from their specialized menu. Nevertheless to say, these tacos were very flavorful and delicious. The service was above and beyond- Christian took the time to explain ingredients and made suggestions on how to use the different homemade sauces on the table. We ended our meal with Mezcal Montelobos Tobala which was also an excellent choice. Its definitely a place to go eat while visiting Puerto Cancun. During my trip to Cancun, Chavito Bien became my absolute go-to place for dinner. Their tacos are incredibly authentic and bursting with flavor — easily the tastiest I had during my stay. I literally walked 1.5 miles just to enjoy their delicious food, and it was worth every step!

Special shoutout to Jonathan, the bartender — he’s nothing short of magical. His drinks are top-notch, and the horchata he made was the best I’ve ever had. Also, huge thanks to Miguel, our server, who was friendly, attentive, and truly made every visit special.

Food was great. Different as you had to request chips instead of pork rinds. Server seemed annoyed by us asking questions. Server acted like they didn’t have a premium marg. Then magically had a Cadillac version. Also if you check, prices on English menu are $5-15$ mx more on English than Spanish menu. When questioned. He didn’t know the difference on menu. ….
