If you’re into Craft Beer or just a good beer, or supporting good local markets, this brewery is totally worth the quick visit. They provide a free flight of all their flavors. Park right out front. Still in their infancy and full of potential in what they can bring to Mexico, their flavors won’t disappoint, they have American IPA’s down. Two of my favorite unique flavors I haven’t had being from the MicroBrew Capital of America: Jamaica Miel Loco (Habiscus and honey), Tesoro Pirata (Rum and Vanilla). All the Flavors are sourced from the local region and Hopps are imported which is typical with the other big breweries. People from all over the world come to taste their beer, during our visit we had Europeans fly here just for a taste and they seemed satisfied! Very friendly people here, Ask for Raul! Fantastic Host. We took a couple six packs home with us brewed fresh in shop. We’re hoping for a beer...

This spot has a lot of American tourists and locals. We met a few locals who were Americans that decided to retire on the island, and it sounds like they love their set up here. They have their own place on the island and stay here 363 days out of the year, just going back home to the states 2 days a year for visa purposes. According to them, they’ve got all they need to have a relaxing retirement right here. Once a month, they have to take the ferry across the water to go to the big box stores like Costco for general supplies, but otherwise they never need to leave.
Sounds like a dream...

They were out of two of the IPAs when we visited but we tried the Claro Que Si (a Blonde), the Playa Norte (an American Pale ale), the Tesoro Pirata (a vanilla Porter), the Jamaica Meil Loco (a hibiscus beer), and the Cruda Ayuda (a ginger beer)
We’re still amazed by the fact that the hibiscus and ginger have any alcohol in them (5.5% to be exact) because they taste like pure juice. The vanilla Porter was also crazy good because of how light it was compared to other porters you find in the states.
One really awesome concept they do is if you buy beer and return the bottles, they’ll give 10 pesos for...
