My fiancé and I went down to Isla In February stopped at this small, amazing and delightful empanada place on our way into town on our golf cart. We were disappointed that we didn’t order more. We visited two more times while we were on our trip. We left on a Sunday and had a plan to smuggle some in our suitcases back home they were so good but unfortunately they were closed on Sundays. You will not regret trying these tasty, incredible delicious empanadas! Yum yum yum!!!!!! I only have delicious memories of this place. The people are beautiful and the food is one of a kind mind blowing....

Small seating area outside with a bunch of tables packed in that may well be full. Even takeout orders take 25 minutes because they make everything fresh. They serve it with a side of cabbage or pickled onions and they provide some salsa that was fine but had some kick. They have a small drink selection including glass-bottle Cokes. This place was recommended to us by a local restauranteur (gracias Orlando de Rinconcito Kahlo!) for the cazón (shark meat) tacos. The cazon is slow cooked, and it is the most tender fish I have ever tasted. The asada empanadas are great too. The empanadas are 20 pesos and so incredibly delicious.
