Playa Garrafon — Attraction in Isla Mujeres

This came with the dolphins package and we loved the dolphin adventure but Garrafon was a different story. We will start with the bad with Garrafon... Stuffed like sardines in a boat shuttle to a place that you can't swim without a life jacket, the lounge seats were uncomfortable, the drinks were very weak, no sandy beach to lounge in, the pool was small, semi-crowded and looked a little dirty. While it is very very pretty here it's not worth it... their zip lines are short, their lack of organization almost made us turn around and get another cab. We were the ONLY people in line at 10am... it took almost an hour to get inside after waiting at the top for someone to call someone else to write down a number just to take us to another line to pay, just to wait in another line for the locker... it was not worth all the time it too. PLUS the food in the VIP buffet made me sick. Had to leave the Tezmacal...

Booked the swim adventure with dolphins with vip access to garrafon. Worst decision ever, dolphins were incredible an amazing experience. Garrafon was a waste of money,time and air. Beach is tiny, swimming pool(singular) tiny, advertised to me as adults only, wrong actually full to the brim of kids, bought vip for adults only, wrong kids everywhere tiny pool full of kids, no where to relax.
