Americas Park — Attraction in Mexico City

Big skating park in the heart of Polanco. It's an entirely flat area with a low wall all around it and it's not gated. I have been there only during weekends, late in the afternoon. It's very common to see families, with kids running around in scooters, skateboards and bicycles. It is a basic and relatively small skating ring, not a skate park, but enough to have fun with your inline skates, roller skates or skateboard. Better go in the morning as in the afternoons it gets taken over by mothers and kids that use is as a playground killing its purpose. This is an excellent park near the center of Polanco. In the mornings, you'll find people walking to work, or older people out reading and getting some exercise. In the evenings, there are dance classes, lots of dogs, children and families playing. The trees are beautiful in the springtime with the purple blooms. One of the best places in the city to see...
