TERRIBLE dining experience. Upon sitting they ask if anyone has any allergies, don’t know what for because the waiters has no clue about the ingredients in their plates and would bring appetizers out that had allergens instead of informing us beforehand. For the main entree, I ordered the Fish that comes with mashed potatoes, they let me know that the mashed had flour and therefore were NOT gluten free, I asked if I could change the potatoes for ANY other side, like vegetables, and they said NO that the supposed “chef” that wasn’t there doesn’t allow them to make ANY substitutions or changes. For a supposedly “fancy” restaurant this is shameful. It’s okay if not every plate is allergy friendly, but a simple ask to just not bring out the allergen side (the potatoes) and being told NO, makes NO SENSE. Our table ordered a wine bottle, and upon finishing we asked for a second. They asked if we wanted a full size bottle or half sized, we asked for half, and without asking or informing they switched the wine brand!!! The second bottle that was only half sized cost more than the original full sized bottle! This is FRAUD, it is not okay to not communicate and try to sneak in more expensive options. Overall we were extremely disappointed with our experience, their are plenty of other options in the area that are well...

The food was good. Service was okay. Very loud atmosphere, but I didn’t mind. The waiter only wanted to make suggestions to us rather provide us with a menu. If there was a tasting menu then by all means, let me enjoy the dishes the chef wants to display. But this was not the case! We asked numerous times for menu and only got one after he brought out three appetizers and as he continued to pick our meals out, we had to insist on the menu we asked for when we got seated! I thought this was very odd.. The wine selection is terrible, but their mixed drinks were definitely delicious. At the end of the dinner and after dessert the waiter brought out a bottle of champagne and was very pushy even though we was clearly done. But the worse part came with the bill(and to be honest, for the area and the suppose rank of the restaurant, it was relatively inexpensive). The waiter brought the bill out and stood over me as I was trying to pay, and before I was even done he had the audacity to say my tip wasn’t enough and continued to break down my bill for me (I felt like like I was being haggled on the streets) I’m a very generous tipper so I was taken back! I love food, I love different cultures take on food and I travel the world enjoying many top restaurants cuisine. I believe with the proper training of the staff, which is extremely important because they are the ones responsible for presenting and delivering the chefs vision, this place has the potential to be great. Based on the service provided and the ordeal at the end of our experience this is one establishment I would not return to...

I was stuffed after this meal! The location is a really elegant vibe, it's perfect for a date night. Though, I do think that the tables are a bit too wide for comfortable conversation.

The waiters are VERY attentive. I found that throughout CDMX as well, best service I've had. Our meal started with some crispy tortillas of some sort and a variety of sauces - least to most spicy. Our drinks were excellent, I got a mezcally drink and my partner got their piña colada adjacent bev.

My steak was perfect, and was served with a whole head of garlic. Idk if I was meant to, but I ate that whole thing. Spreading the roasted goodness on my steak like butter 🤭. I got their truffle mashed potatoes on the side. Frankly I could've done without them. I didn't love the texture and the steak alone would've filled me up.

My partner ordered the octopus after we saw some pics from other reviewers. I'm not a seafood girly, but he said it was amazing. He calls this the best meal of our relationship lol.

For dessert we got this layered cake because we saw everyone else get these huge sparkling candles with it! Ours didn't have it which was sad. I also put that we were celebrating our anniversary on the reservation and typically restaurants will do something special, but they didn't (def surprised me). The cake itself tasted like frosted flakes cereal in a good way though.

I'd recommend coming just because the quality you get for the price here vs in the US makes it so worth. I paid ~$100 for two including drinks...

Very weird dining experience... In short, good cake, everything else poor. When we arrived at 2130 the the restaurant was filled TVs showing a NFL game that went to 2230. The game was so loud that it was difficult to hear anything else. There was no atmosphere, it didn't look like anyone was really watching it, but it was on and couldn't be ignored. When sat, we ordered sparkling water which was served, but then we seemed to be forgotten about. Around 15 minutes later we were served a selection of salsa. Then a bit later we were given food menus. We ordered a cerviche starter, tacos and the popular cake desert. We were not given a drinks menu or offered any drinks. The tuna cerveche was decent (minus the bad bits of avocado) but the tacos were not enjoyable. Then we had several different waiters ask if we would like anything else or the desert. We confirmed the desert which was later served by a supervisor who asked if we wanted coffee or a digestive to go with it. The cake was pretty good (and huge), vanilla ice cream, crispy pasty, nuts and caramel. The service was lacking and disjointed. The restaurant wasn't full and there were plenty of staff, but even getting the bill took over 10 minutes. No atmosphere, hit and miss dishes, poor service, expensive, I cannot recommend it.
