Came here when both Biblioteca Vasconcelos and Biblioteca de México were inexplicably closed one day for reasons I am not sure of and I still needed to study. Quiet, air conditioned, modern, comfy, fast and accessible WiFi, what more can one ask for in a library? You need ID of some sort to get in and to go through security who will check your bag. Also all the books were taped off and I don't know why

American embassy library with a lot of useful books about history, literature, politics etc in English. You can borrow a book for 2 weeks, you need to provide contacts of one more other person as a prove. Don’t forget your ID. There is a small coffee spot inside.
