I personally did like what see there however some of our group members liked shopping there.

El Bazaar Sabado is a vibrant haven for art enthusiasts and culture seekers in Mexico City. Every Saturday, this open-air market transforms Plaza San Jacinto into a bustling hub of creativity and craftsmanship, showcasing the talents of local artists and artisans.

Wandering through the maze of stalls, visitors are treated to a kaleidoscope of colors and textures, with each booth offering a unique selection of handmade treasures. From intricately woven textiles to exquisitely crafted ceramics and jewelry, there's something to captivate every artistic sensibility.

What sets El Bazaar Sabado apart is its intimate atmosphere and sense of community. As you browse through the stalls, you have the opportunity to meet the artists behind the creations, gaining insight into their creative process and inspiration. It's a rare chance to connect with the vibrant local arts scene and support independent artisans directly.

In addition to the array of artisanal goods, El Bazaar Sabado also features live music performances, adding to the festive ambiance. Whether you're searching for a one-of-a-kind souvenir or simply soaking in the lively atmosphere, a visit to this beloved market is sure to be a highlight of your time in Mexico City.

Overall, El Bazaar Sabado offers a delightful blend of creativity, culture, and community, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the vibrant spirit of Mexico...

Mexico City besides the problems it has is under the most beautiful Cities I have known in my travels. His old architecture and small streets in the area of San Angel and his contructions of the buildings it is really very nice and in some kind very romantic. I don't go very often to this place but when we go we enjoy a nice breakfast in the restaurants around the little park and after a good long breakfast it is beautiful to walk through the park area and enjoy the beautiful paintings and all different colors and talk to the artists. It is for us some kind of relaxing from our daily life and enjoy the moment. Everyone who visits Mexico City and has nothing to do on weekends should go a few hours to that place San Angel Inn, San Jacinto and enjoy the area at it's best. Walk around and enjoy the architecture of the houses and the paintings in the parks and just forget about the daily problems. It is some kind of therapy for your body and mind. I really recommend it. I asure you that you will not forget this walk in the morning before or after breakfast. In my opinion it is the best after breakfast like a...

This place can be overwhelming to some visitors and definitely a schlep to get to. Ubers and cars get hung up in the busy streets so, be warned. Avoid this by ubering a few blocks down and walking in

Lots of stuff to see and buy here. Home goods. Jewelry. Clothing. Wall decor. Lots of art. Only open Saturdays and reminds me of other open air markets around CDMX...

Things to know:

bring cash...

most vendors speak some English but your mileage may vary...

You can haggle, but don't be rude about it. Walk around and compare first then come back and ask for a fair price.

There's one amazing jewelry maker inside I regret not buying from - she and her son sell some beautiful stuff - Jades and all. Don't sleep on it.

Walk around the surrounding areas for more...

Overall rating: 4.9 Visiting from: NYC While they are only on Saturdays, YOU HAVE TO VISIT. 1000% worth it. I spent half day here, but it’s definitely more of a full day or somewhere in between. There’s this beautiful restaurant with a gigantic tree I wish I was able to go, but I didn’t have time. Also if you think you’re going to find a better deal elsewhere, you won’t. Buy your jewelry here! I held out a few times for souvenirs elsewhere since this was one of my first few days and regret not getting more. There were these great man shirts for like $25-$35 USD and the value for the quality was unmatched! Highly, highly recommend!!

This bazaar, nestled in one of the area's historic buildings, is a true hidden gem. The blend of history and local culture creates a unique shopping experience. The bazaar features a couple of charming local boutique stores offering a wide variety of locally made goods, including handcrafted items, food products, textiles, perfumes, skincare products, and jewelry. At the heart of the bazaar is a cozy restaurant, perfect for taking a break and enjoying a meal amidst the vibrant surroundings. Overall, this bazaar is well worth a visit.
