Lots of street vendors selling souvenirs and food. You can buy a pineapple full of fruit, cotton candy, bracelets, churros, etc. The sunset is wonderful at this point, and after nightfall there are people who jump into the ocean from the top of the tower. They have no set schedule, but they'll jump every day out of the year if there are enough visitors in the area to watch. Once you see them light the torches, go up to the tower. After a small crowd gathers, one of the jumpers gives a speech about how this is not funded by the government, and how they put their lives in danger for only small tips, without any form of health insurance. They pass a hat around for tips, and then one of them goes up and jumps.

It's definitely something to see. They're very brave men doing this. Recently someone died due to the poor conditions for jumping and the harsh waves. It's amazing how some people make...

Tourists buses come to this area daily. You see plenty of Canadian and American tourists getting off the buses excited to see the divers. And the divers are out shouting what is about to come. Some are even telling people how many divers are out there and how much it will be to watch them and take photos. The show is amazing and the divers make it look easy. However, I was told that there have been accidents over the years where the divers really get hurt. Some have hit rocks as the water is unpredictable as it comes in. If there is a high tide it is much better for diving. This time the show was amazing. I watched from the side and enjoyed the acrobatics. Quite a sight to see. I highly recommend it if you are out and about. And the divers really earn their money by taking...

Went to see the divers as part of a city tour package provided by Sunwing. The divers did a brief introduction before climbing the cliff. They made sure to provide lots of time for photos. The diver was impressive and a bit scary. They land in hard waters very close to rocks but they are clearly professionals and very skilled swimmers. Cool to see! Be sure to leave them a tip :) There were also people in the area selling souvineers for really good prices. We opted to wait for the market and missed out on a deal, so of you like it and they ask for only 20...

We were in Mazatlán during a cruise. We didn’t have any excursions planned and wound up getting a taxi at the port. The driver offered to take us on a tour of his town for a good price $40 and said we would go to the cities popular places and learn about his city along the way. He was amazing, one of our stops was at The Diver. These guys are awesome to watch. Jumping off the platform with very little clearance into treacherous waters and terrain. It was beautiful.

No tickets. I was told the divers will dive when big crowds are there to see them dive and so they get tipped for doing so. Because I arrived when there wasn't a big crowd and didn't have much time to wait for there to be a crowd, the diver said he would dive for $$ if we paid him. I paid him $500mx pesos and so we got to see him dive. So amazing to see, yet so dangerous for the diver.
