Kitsilano Burger — Restaurant in Sinaloa

My wife and I came to this restaurant because we thought it was funny that it was named Kitsilano. We live in Vancouver, BC in the Kitsilano neighborhood and we joked that we were going home for dinner. The restaurant only serves burgers but the drinks selection is large. We ordered 2 Kitsilano burgers and a beer and lemonade. The burgers were okay but the fries were cold and overly greasy. The burger buns were also greasy and we used napkins to remove some of the grease. We joked that we were having sliders for dinner. The service was okay. The waiters were a little distracted most of the time to provide good service. Then we asked if the owner was Canadian. We were told that the owner is Mexican but he spent time in Vancouver living and working in Kitsilano. I’ll keep this short - Two in our party got food poisoning here. We’re certain we got it at this restaurant as this is the only meal we shared all day. As others have said, the food takes a bit to arrive but I don’t fault the staff for that - they were slammed on a Sunday night and very kind. The view is fantastic.

My family and I dined here last night and enjoyed the very tasty kitsilano burgers. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had a table with an amazing view. We were a little hesitant after reading a review that stated the food made them sick, but decided to take a chance based on the many, many positive reviews and I’m glad we did.
