The Bridge in Podgorica is the oldest bridge in the city, located at the confluence of Moraca and Ribnica rivers. It was built during the Roman era and underwent restoration funded by the Ottomans in the 18th century. Situated at a central point in the city, you can take a peaceful walk, sit down, and unwind amidst the sounds of chirping birds. A must-visit spot in the city. One end of the bridge leads to the old neighborhood, where I recommend strolling through the streets and also checking out the clock tower.

Podgorica isn't a place for tourists. They mostly visit Kotor Bay or the coast instead of the capital. At some point I can understand why but Podgorica has something very different that is worth to explore in my opinion, even if you just spend 2 hours in this city. This bridge is such a charming calm place with a waterfall and a little gorge. I can't recommend this place enough, I liked it a lot!

Low tide let’s you get close to this beautiful little bridge. The water is super clear and it’s suitable for smaller children too. The walk is a little intense and if the weather turns you’ll be able to shelter in a nearby outcrop. It’s the point two rivers meet so after heavy rain the water level can be much higher. Great for photos.

One of the most beautiful places in Podgorica. Cosy, charming, old. Could sit there for hours and watch the river. Just pity that seems no one cares about cleanliness of this place. There is an old house ruins, not sure, if originally there were toilets, or people started using it as one, but it stinks around, and is dirty.

This was my favourite part of visiting Podgorica. The river is beautiful, clean and a nice place to cool down in the summer. In the evening you can sit and listen to the birds, so peaceful. There were a few people visiting both times I was there, but it wasn’t too busy to find a quiet place to relax.
