Very disrespectful and unprofessional behavior from the cashier and the employees, the employees did not offer any help to me and my two foreigner friends when we asked, kept chatting next to us in a very disrespectful way. And not only that, the cashier had to make us wait 15 minutes because she didn’t understand why the machine didn’t get our receipt out, then proceeded to ignore us when we trying to explain that the payment went through and we’re in a hurry to catch our train. They held us hostage in the middle of the store, called 3 or 4 people to help, who themselves didn’t help us at all ! After the wait time and the disastrous service we finally got our receipt and left. ONLY TO BE FOLLOWED by an employee holding two lipsticks in his hands, accusing us of stealing “ them “ ? he dragged us all the way back to the store, didn’t have any argument to justify the stealing charge, yelled at our friend for expressing her frustration in English, saying that we were very disrespectful to him and that he was doing his job. The staff didn’t check the camera recordings when we asked to, they kept bickering about us until the first disrespectful employee issued a halfassed apology and let us go. Absolutely disrespectful behavior, a waste of our time and energy, this event completely ruined the end of our stay in Marrakech, we will never step foot in this establishment again. I advise the owners of the store to choose better staff, and to make sure that the cashiers know at least how to use the machine, or even know how to read at this...

I purchased two Swiss Arabian perfumes (Shaghaf Oud 75ml and Intense Pride 100ml) from the Swiss Arabian stand inside Carrefour Market Gourmet at Carré Eden Shopping Center, Marrakech. I paid 879 MAD (~£69) per bottle.

After returning home, I discovered that these same perfumes are widely available online for significantly less—around £30 for Shaghaf Oud and £45–£50 for Intense Pride.

While the perfumes appear to be genuine and of good quality, I was surprised by the high price and the lack of clear price disclosure before purchase. As a tourist, I felt the pricing was not transparent and quite a bit higher than what I would expect based on international prices.

I recommend that future customers check prices carefully and ask for confirmation before buying, especially if you are visiting from abroad. The perfumes themselves are nice, but the local pricing may not offer...

bonjour, j arrive a l instant de faire mon marche a carrefour market de gueliz, je remplis mon caddy et arrivee a la caisse depose tous mes achats sur le tapis, au moment de regler , la caissiere m annonce que l on ne peut pas payer par carte bancaire......alors c est souvent que cela arrive, le montant etant assez eleve je lui demande comment l on fait, elle souleve les epaules et me dit d aller retirer du liquide ; il faut savoir que l on peut retirer un certain montant chaque jour et que dans ce cas c etait plutot embetant pour moi, car a cause du covid je sors tres peu et cela m obligeait donc a ressortir le lendemain, ayant un handicap je ne peux me permettre de sortir chaque jour et je dois tout de meme garder un peu de liquide avec moi.......donc il serait tout de meme judicieux d annoncer au micro dans le magasin que LE REGLEMENT PAR CARTE BANCAIRE N EST PAS POSSIBLE, on le fait tres bien pour appeler des chefs de rayons !!!!......cela eviterait d avoir la mauvaise surprise a la caisse et d avoir passe 2 heures dans le magasin ; j en fait donc la remarque a la caissiere GENTIMENT lui expliquant que pour le client c est plutot ennuyeux surtout quand il a effectue des achats importants, bref , je demande un responsable et a cet instant elle me dit le mot colonisation,......alors la je tombe de haut, je suis "scotchee".....pourquoi me parle t elle de colonisation ?.....JE TROUVE CE PROPOS GRAVE ET DECONCERTANT A L ENCONTRE DU CLIENT, cela fait 12 ans que j habite a Marrakech et c est bien la premiere fois que l on me tient ce genre de langage !.....je pense qu il serait judicieux aussi d etre vigilant quant au recrutement des caissieres , elle etait ni souriante ni agreable, je ne suis pas du genre a faire des reclamations, mais j avoue que la c est un propos INACCEPTABLE et qui n avait rien faire dans ce contexte !!!!......mais ou va t on ?......le deuxieme point, j arrive a la maison, je range mes achats et regarde mon ticket de caisse et la je vois que 2 plats ronds sont factures alors que j en ai achete qu un !!!!......j essaie de telephoner, en vain, impossible d avoir un interlocuteur !!!!......je garde donc mon ticket et lorsque je ressortirai j irai voir a l accueil, .....donc voila ma mesaventure du jour, je tenais a vous le faire savoir ! et j espere que des mesures seront prises, car vraiment cela ne m encourage plus a faire mes achats dans ce magasin et pourtant j y suis une fidele cliente !!!!....c est dommage que certaines caissieres soient incompetentes et disgracieuses, sinon au niveau du magasin c est tres bien car il y a du choix, et ce magasin est tres bien place...
