I have never seen such fake liars and con artists in all my life. The fact that the IJDOORNLAAN street is currently under renovation is a well known fact in Amsterdam North. The delivery guy obviously didn't bother looking up the address beforehand, so he does not even know how to do that part of his job properly, yet he finds it easier to accuse a sick, home bound patient who is not able to leave the house, for the current roadworks going on throughout the city: how cowardly, discriminating, and rude! You should address your remarks below to the Gemeente, not to me, fools! Moreover, I have been called for 48h by a number who does not ever answer. I have called their number back FOUR TIMES (photographic evidence fully available) but the 'delivery guy' never picks up. Who asked to speak to him anyway?! Is there not even a manager or an owner of this hole in the wall joint pretending to be a restaurant? The very rude response they dared to send here below shows the mere ignorance and the sheer lack of intelligence of this "restaurant's" management (if they even have any). Finally after 48h the delivery guy picks up the phone, and then pretends not to know WHY I HAVE CALLED HIM. Cheek of the man! He has been calling me for 48h then he acts like he does not know why I am calling him! ARE THESE PEOPLE INSANE? Have they even heard of the words 'customer service'?! OBVIOUSLY NOT. He then continues by saying that I am 'that lady' (so he knew very well who he was speaking to, and this little childish act of his was a poor comedy show), by defending his fantastic restaurant and the great quality of their food. Has he not dignity? No humility? No understanding that every single dish they sent me was REVOLTING? That they stole my money by selling RUBBISH to me? How dare he defend such filthy garbage? The delivery guy's pride is so high in the sky, that he could not even lower himself in his terrible broken Dutch (shows the level of education), to offer a simple sorry, for the rubbish he has ripped me off with. He then dared to hang up the phone, as he is not able to speak nor respond to my complaint. He was obviously annoyed that I had dared to portray his beloved 'restaurant' here on google reviews. Even 0.25 cents would have been too expensive an amount for the sheer trash they delivered to me. I will personally ensure that this terrible "restaurant" / hole in the wall is broadcasted all over social media as to how badly their treat their customers, and to the news also, as the very worst Indian restaurant in the world. SHAME ON YOU FOR TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS, AFTER SERVING SUCH RUBBISH YOU EVEN DARE TO CALL FOOD!!!! 34.50 euro STRAIGHT IN THE BIN, WELL DONE. Extremely rude and incorrect message from the 'delivery guy' below: How dare they address customers with such falsification of facts and lies! ------ "We hebben nooit zo een klant meegemaakt. Mevrouw heeft voor het eerst besteld en plaatst een review met inhoud wat niet overeenkomt met wat wij leveren. Daar heeft mevrouw ons ook niet over gecontacteerd. De bezorger gaf ook aan dat mevrouw heel slecht in de omgang was bij het afleveren van het eten. Het adres was onbereikbaar wat mevrouw niet had aangegeven. Toch heeft de bezorger ervoor gezorgd dat het eten zo snel mogelijk was afgeleverd. Als het gaat om de kwaliteit van onze gerechten, kunnen honderden andere klanten wel van het tegendeel spreken. Zoals mevrouw het omschrijft was elke gerecht niet goed. Wij doen alles om onze kwaliteit te verbeteren en om onze klanten tevreden te houden. Terrible experience, NEVER AGAIN. Complete waste of 34.50 euro. I had to throw the whole order in the bin except the drink :(( So sad.

Food was really very spicy, i grew up eating spicy food, But this was not eatable, felt like they dropped the box in the curry. Nevertheless i their prices are very reasonable, if you can eat spicy 🥵 food then this tent is for you.

Food was really very spicy, i grew up eating spicy food, But this was not eatable, felt like they dropped the box in the curry. Nevertheless i their prices are very reasonable, if you can eat spicy 🥵 food then this tent is for you.

Ik ben normaliter geen recensie schrijver, dit doe ik met een bepaalde bijzonderheid op het moment dat het eten heel goed is of heel slecht. Dit is helaas een recensie met een slechte bijzonderheid. Ikzelf, zou zeggen dat ik een expert ben op het gebied van de Butter Chicken en garlic naan. Naar schatting heb ik ongeveer bij 30 verschillende restaurants gegeten waarbij ik altijd de twee gerechten bestelde. Naar schatting is dit de smerigste Butter Chicken, maar ook toevallig de naan die ik van de alle 30 restaurants ooit heb gegeten.

Wij hadden dus, zoals gewoonlijk, twee BC. Met twee garlic naan erbij. De BC was echt super wit en er zaten bijna geen kruiden in, er zat echter ook weinig kip in. Voor 18,50 was dit zeer teleurstellend. Verder was de garlic naan heel taai en op één of andere manier anders gemaakt dan dat een normale garlic naan moet smaken en de textuur hoort te zijn. Naar mijn mening hoort een BC rood van textuur te zijn en de Garam Masala samen met de paprika smaken en andere kruiden, eruit te springen. Dit leek alsof er alleen maar boter in was gegooid met kip en een beetje paprikapoeder of tomatensaus.

Het klopt, de recensie komt nogal bot over, maar het is alsnog mijn voorkeur naar hoe een BC en GN hoort te smaken. Er zouden vast wel andere mensen zijn die dit wel lekker vinden, maar als je al op basis van uiterlijk de plaatjes gaat vergelijken op het internet naar hoe het eruit hoort te zien lijkt het eerder op champignonsoep dan op een authentieke BC. Voor een 4.6 als restaurant hebbende, moeten hier serieus sprongen in gemaakt worden om haar naamsbekendheid ten goede te doen. Helaas heb ik geen foto’s want we hebben het eten heel...
