Royal Thai Amsterdam — Attraction in Amsterdam

14/05 Unfortunately this wasnt for me! First ever Thai massage and I left feeling very disappointed and to be honest quite stressed! The massage itself was great, what I didn't notice when I went in the room is a curtain partition to the next person having a massage! With my head covered i thought there were 4 people in the room which freaked me out! After noticing the curtain and somebody was next to me i relaxed!! Short lived ! Crying babies through the ceiling and loud banging! OK carry on! That's when it got worse! Man next to me blows his nose and I feel every droplet come out! Heavy breathing commences for a good 20 minutes, then he starts to snore and I mean snore! As I said great massage, awful un-relaxing surroundings! Won't be going back ! I thought about not paying but as a foreigner in another country I didn't want to make a scene !

I have had massages everywhere on earth but honestly I’ve never come out as sore as after my “relaxing” massage here. Not only was it not relaxing at all (with constant noise from the reception, nearby clients that were not told to lower voices at all and even kept their phones ringing) but it was really painful. Today my 2nd visit to this salon. The atmosphere is friendly, the space is clean and the masseuse fun and caring at the same time. I booked a relaxation massage, but still the first part was a bit painful, in order to break down the tension in my muscles.I felt my body relax after the first necessary strong massage, after which the rest of the treatment was sooo relaxing.
