Mr. Moos Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Breda

This is, without doubt, one of the best restaurants I have been to.

We came to Breda for my partner's birthday (from London UK) and before going out to a club we wanted something to eat. We stumbled across Dickens & Jones and I am so pleased we did!

Food is excellent value for money. Each we had breads, three courses, cocktails and beer, and paid for what would usually be a quick lunch in London.

The staff made the evening perfect. Two waiters and a waitress served us - the courses were excellently timed, we were never without a drink and they made great conversation. I told them it was my partner's birthday and they gave us free shots and a free desert with sparklers!

The atmosphere was romantic and warm, candles everywhere and excellent old-fashioned design. It was nice to be able to look out onto the market, too.

We are coming back to Breda in March after a trip to Amsterdam - specifically to come for dinner here!

Our experience at Mr. Moos Bar & Bistro in Breda was exceptional. We visited for a weekday dinner without a reservation and were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, setting the stage for a great evening. We started with drinks—a glass of white beer and cola—before moving on to our main orders: spare ribs and salmon steak. The ribs were initially a bit sweeter than expected, but our server, Fee, provided excellent service by adjusting the flavor to a spicier profile, which was perfect. The salmon steak was cooked to perfection, and the prompt, friendly service throughout made our evening memorable. We had the 5 course wine matched degustation offering. All of the dishes were packed with flavour and there was sufficient albeit not generous quantity, which is the failing of some degustation offerings at other places. The reduction of 1 star was for the wine matching, one white in particular. The service had an appropriate level of attention, tables that wanted to take their time were served accordingly and those that wanted faster service seemed to be accommodated.
