A history center with exhibitions about the history of Leeuwarden city and Fryslan, temporary exhibition about hospital in Leeuwarden and Erwin in January 2023. I never really knew what to expect from the Historical Centre Leeuwarden, but thought I'd just go and have a look for myself. At the moment there's and exhibition of old and new painted cityscapes of Leeuwarden. As someone who likes to discover a little about the history of the place I live it I found it very intriguing to see these familiar streets in different times. It was a short, but well informed and well curated exposition. The staff is super friendly and it's free! I enjoyed it.
