We really enjoyed this tour. I had the chocolate tasting box but my fiancé didn’t as she’s not really a chocolate eater but this didn’t take anything away from the experience. As I chocolate fan I found it fun and interesting with a few taste surprises. The Wonka bar you all get as your admission ticket is delicious and comprises of many different flavours. This also gives you a free taste of one of the hand made chocolates next door. Make a note though if any of the tour samples take your fancy as the shop next door sell them. The fillings are cheap alternatives to a true filling that (for this price) should be made with heavy cream or liqueurs- instead of lots of cheap sugar fillings. I could not even taste the flavors because it was just one similar taste, just different color fillings. Skip this one! The “museum” is a bunch of older chocolate commercials they dug up for display and put the famous name of a movie on it to lure people in. I find this false...
Read moreWe did the full tasting experience, and while it's a small museum and was a little cramped with several other families with (smaller) children it was very enjoyable none the less. The chocolate was very good (for the most part, but tasting some of the less 'sweet' items was a novel experience regardless). Doing the full tasting experience means you take the time to check every display and are actively drawn in. Learning while you're having fun. It'll be an enjoyable experience for slightly older...
