The Shore Scheveningen — Attraction in The Hague

I had 3 surfing lessons here and was warmly welcomed. Was lucky to learn from Mack most of the time. He has a lot of patience and a natural charisma. I'm shy and a bit too self-critical in new situations, but here everything was so relaxed that I felt comfortable and I was able to learn at my own pace, which I really liked.

My English is not the best. Nevertheless, a lot was explained to me in simple words and sometimes repeated until I understood everything. These 2 days took me from the stressful everyday life into a very happy, good time and I was able to learn a lot, not just about surfing. I'd be happy...

Serving pancakes with honey when you have a MASSIVE bee problem is a dumb idea though. Two minutes after serving I had over 20 (!) bees on my plate and had to stop eating. Response of the staff: yeah too bad, not much we can do.

Too bad? Maybe dont service this stuff (or at least tell customers when they order) when you have these issues guys. You gave me food I basically couldnt eat now, great...

We had an introductory group surf lesson with Pascal and Thijs as instructors and we had a blast! They were super attentive to the group and covered all the basics of surfing. The overall atmosphere of the place is also great. We had a great experience and we will definitely go again the next time we're in...
