Fonk — Restaurant in The Hague

One entire army of waiters running around all the time, and it took 25 minutes to get an Ola ice cream at the terrace for my daughter. Ordered, brought, and paid by three different waiters. I even walked at the counter at some point to see what ice creams they had, only to be slammed back by the girl at the bar barking that "there are my colleagues out there for the order". As if one could not see them...

I so much wait for the managers of this type of places to understand that they need HALF the personnel they hire, but to train them...

The service was not great. We had to wave a waiter down every time we needed something and had to ask for menus. We were given one, for a table of 3. The place was quite empty sonst can't haven been that they ran out. We ordered a carpaccio bun, which was good. The nachos were terrible..a pile of chips with a little bit of stuck on cheese, a dollopnof guacamole that was really bland and tomato sauce that was quite runny. We came here because we wanted to be sure there was a playground for our son. Upon arriving we realized basically all the restaurants have a playground for the kids but I really liked the menu here. For some reason their homemade lemonade was on the kids menu but I ordered for myself and was not disappointed! Their vegetarian options were really good.
