Woolworths Greenlane is a dependable neighbourhood supermarket that blends convenience with a friendly, community-focused feel. Nestled in one of Auckland’s inner suburbs, it’s well-located for locals and even commuters who weave it into their daily routines. The store space is compact yet well organized—aisles are tidy and easy to navigate, making it simple to find staples without getting lost. It may not have the open expanses of a mega-chain store, but it’s thoughtfully laid out to maximize efficiency.
The fresh produce section often delivers crisp, colourful vegetables and fruits. While choices can be slightly limited compared to bigger stores, what’s there tends to be high quality and consistently rotated. The meat and deli counters are modest but steady: nothing flashy, but reliably stocked with everyday cuts, small-batch deli items, and pre-prepared options for quick dinners. The bakery corner offers a practical range—breads, rolls, and pastries—sometimes with a few local favourites thrown in.
Customer service at Greenlane is a highlight—staff are approachable, often remembering regular customers and greeting them by name. Self-checkout is available and usually runs smoothly, although there’s always someone nearby to help if necessary. The modest security presence keeps things feeling safe without ever feeling overbearing.
Pricing is in line with other Woolworths locations, and keeping an eye on weekly specials or the app can really stretch your dollars. Parking is generally manageable—weekday mornings are ideal, but evenings and weekends do get busy, especially with the surrounding shopping precinct nearby. Overall, Woolworths Greenlane may not have the sparkle of a flagship store, but it nails the essentials: friendly service, quality basics, and a genuinely comforting shopping experience that...
Read moreYee! Its still PissOff second went after view/ I went to this Countdown branch with my child. We only carried a shopping basket because we don’t usually buy much from this store—just some fruit that we need for the day. I don’t like shopping for groceries here, but sometimes we come for specific items. However, I’ve noticed on multiple occasions that older man staff members, wearing the store uniform, keep following us around. It think my child and I are trying to steal something. That’s extremely insulting. Really pit-off If I didn’t have money, why would I even enter a store like this? I’ve been noticing this behavior since 2021, the first time I came to this store. Every time, there’s an older man—possibly of Indian descent—who crosses his arms and follows me around like I’m doing something wrong trying to stealing thing in this store. I find this extremely offensive. Very idiot I feeling to Curse it this shoping place had a lots of criminal, stealing peoples are enter only !! I feel deeply disrespected and judged every time I enter this place. No customer should be made to feel like a criminal just because they look different or don’t buy in bulk. To the staff monitoring the cameras and following me around, assuming I’m stealing—you need to reflect on how you treat people. I hope this store reconsiders how it treats its customers and trains its staff better. No one deserves to be treated this way. Take my Curse !! What's had treated me ! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
By the Way, The prices Showed up for products and when check out many are different Showed cheap but check out mire expensive! Everyone needed to check the Received everytime. It was cheated some of products in...

Recently, due to the Minecraft promotion, my child has been eager to collect all the Cubeez, so we have been visiting stores frequently. Last week, I went to this store with my child and purchased 14 Meadow Fresh yogurts. According to the official website and the in-store signage, each purchase should come with one Cubeez.
However, at checkout, the receipt indicated that I could only receive five. When I asked a staff member about this, she was very rude. I pointed out that the promotion clearly stated “buy one, get one Cubeez,” but she insisted that the receipt determined the quantity. Her attitude was upsetting, so I decided to return the items.
At the manual checkout, another staff member was willing to give me the correct amount, but the rude employee interfered, telling her not to, and even took back the extra Cubeez. She then processed the refund with a very poor attitude. This left me wondering: can store policies be arbitrarily changed by employees? The rule was clearly stated as “buy one, get one,” yet they refused to honor it.
I later visited another store with the same promotion, and the staff there had no issue giving me the correct number of Cubeez without hesitation. The difference in service is shocking. With such poor customer service and inconsistent policies, I will never return to this...
