Hungrill BBQ Cafe and Eatery奔赛烧烤店 — Attraction in Christchurch

I had chicken burger combo and beef noodle soup. The bun was so dry and the chicken inside tasted just average, not juicy. Actually I ordered the burger for myself but I only had one bite and left it to my hubby. Not what I expected at all. The beef noodle soup...only the beef is yummy and tender, rather than that, the soup, the noodle and the daikon, tasteless. The daikon, I mean, if you don't bother to braise them just don't put them. They are still crunchy even they are thinly sliced. Didn't try their BBQ this time, but definitely not recommend those food....

I cannot recommend this place enough! Absolutely fantastic selection of charcoal grilled skewers! Being able to get such a variety of food for a reasonable price is so rare these days. The ox tongue and lamb heart were some of the best I've ever had and the staff are very kind and attentive. The restaurant itself has a very cool atmosphere with newspaper clippings and fun signs on the walls as well as some impressive deer antlers. I stayed for about 3 hrs trying as much as I could and my bill was under $60! I will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in...

I saw a open sign for this cafe and eatery advertising coffee and food when I stepped off the bus and decided to swing by on my way to my morning appointment. They were very much not open. I suggest the establishment adjust their signage to properly indicate if they are open or not. I don't know what the food is like here but the BBQ did smell good when I was standing outside the building trying to find a sign with their hours...
