Super Wok Chinese Takeaway — Attraction in Christchurch

I have been coming to Super wok for years and I normally rate it very highly but I bought dinner there last night and was very disappointed this time. I ordered a large lemon chicken (I normally ask for it to be on fried rice instead of vegetables but I forgot this time, my fault entirely but I love vegetables so it wasn't a problem) However the vegetables were lukewarm, flavourless, chewy and watery, superwok used to have lovely fresh vegetables in their dishes. Not anymore. The cauliflower and brocoli had been frozen and they were yuk. The chicken was not a whole lot better, not very hot, really chewy and tough and I couldn't even eat half of it. Probably the best fish n chips🥡 in Christchurch. We come to Superwok once if not a couple times a week - and we are never left hungry or disappointed. The burgers 🍔 are absolutely amazing - we ask for the chicken patty cut in half because its so big - staff oblige every time. They always remember to leave out the tomato sauce 🥫in my burgers where other places sometimes leave it in and ruin my day lol. Fish🐟 is beautiful, chips🍟 arent too bad either. Crispy🍤 and fresh, and the oil tastes clean. Value for money 💵 is amazing - our family of big eaters is fed and full for under $25. I'm so happy to found this place. Love the food there. Quite big portions for large and not oily and tasty. Love to try fish and chips and other menus. Looks tidy and friendly staff. Will visit often. Recommend to all. I've been there so many times since I found here. Sometimes a little salty or too sweet, but today all the food's balance was perfect. Sweet and sour pork wasn't too sweet. Other dishes weren't salty just great. Even they priced up little bit.
