Milford Beach Pizza — Attraction in Devonport-Takapuna

Update a year later: Milford Beach Pizza has become my regular pizza restaurant, the quality is still as good as when they started (it's even better now!). The Wicked Wednesday $20 special is such a good deal, we are there every week.

Yesterday they were extremely busy in the kitchen, and despite being a bit late in their delivery time, the 3 staffs in the kitchen never stopped working really hard to keep the customer happy, all with a smile.

So get warned, if you order on Wednesday you might have to wait a bit but it's the small price to pay for the best pizzas in Auckland!

Nice new Italian style pizzeria in Milford. Home made dough and sauce. Very good flavour and multiple vegetarian options. We had take away and we're happily surprised when we open the box as the pizzas are big, and well garnished. We had the picante and the seafood, and they were both a hit! And the tiramisu is to die for! Will definitely dine in next time, cause the place is nice and has a good vibe! And I want to play on the free arcade...

Oh no what happened? Did it change hands? Has Trump placed a ban on non USA made pizza? Surely that was not the same chef who made the fab pizza I first ate. 2 months ago I had something that rated above 5. I told my friends, work colleagues, even told them it's worth an hrs drive. Now it's egg all over me. We tried 1 months ago..took it home and then wondered if we had gone to dominos by mistake? Poor but it couldn't be that bad we still remember the superb food we first received...so tonight we needed something special. It's got worse! Was that topping, I know I have new glasses, maybe I got the wrong strength. Was that a plain tin of tomato as a base, I think you forgot the herbs. Very sad day. We thought we had found a great takeaway pizza. Flags now at half mast....

We have walked past this many times and luckily today we decided to give it a go. I love it when you go somewhere and it changes your outlook entirely. We ordered a funghi and a carni and went to pick it up. Saw people sitting outside in the warm summers evening enjoying a bottle of wine from the wine shop next door and found out they do BYO. As we had dogs with us, we decided to stay and enjoy our pizzas in the sun with a glass of wine. The dog bowl with water was clean…always a good indicator of a restaurant that cares. The pizzas arrived and wow! Perfect crusty bases and delicious toppings. We don’t eat a lot of pizza but this was excellent in a way that we want to come back soon with our friends. Highly...
