Disappointed. The servers were polite, but the overall service felt unpolished. One server attempted to take our plate before we were finished, which was unexpected and a bit awkward. Later, another server hurriedly cleared our dishes while we were still talking. She tried to stack the plates in front of us, creating distracting sounds that disrupted our conversation, even though there was no wait for tables. The seating was also too close, making it difficult to have a comfortable conversation due to the noise levels. With the prices they charge, I would expect a more refined dining experience where space and privacy are considered, and the staff is better trained in service etiquette. And the food... very overrated. Nothing special.

I came to this place because I tried The Don in the city thought this would be the same one. It felt ok to start with and environment, service was good. It was quit busy during lunch time on a Thursday. Until the order came I realised it’s different. You can see it’s a Korean over Japanese by the way they present food and when I pay my bill I heard the language. I’m not against that Korean operates Japanese food. Many Sushi shop in town are owned by Korean. But that’s just me when it comes to food I like the idea of tasting authentic. I give 4 star for this restaurant because of the service and environment not the food. I don’t think I will come again.

We ordered 3 meals, 1 pork katsu with egg and 2 sashimi rice bowls. The presentation was nice and the quality of the meat is good. You would be wondering why the 1 star? It’s because of the horrible rice. This is the WORST rice I’ve had in my life. It’s was MUSHY and stuck together. There were rice that were even RAW. It’s was unbearable that I spat the first bit of rice out. You could even tell the rice was bad and the restaurant could not be bothered to make another batch of rice. Never coming to this place again. (I’m sure the rice is not this bad everyday but the issue is the lack of care for the food that they serve to the customers)

Our family visits this place a lot and spends a lot of money there, its been consistently good until out last visit in June. Our meat skewers were as tough as old boots. service was disjointed and all over the place, we had to send out children looking for service a couple of times during the meal. The beef sukiyaki was so over cooked and chewy, absolutely gross. My dimsum soup was so overcooked that the wonton wrappers had dissolved into a goey mess into the liquid and the reman noodles that came with it looked exactly like 2 minute noodles from the supermarket. Extremely disappointing. Will not bother returning, go across the road to ...
