Sylvan Park — Attraction in Devonport-Takapuna

I went on an outing with three other people to this place for lunch (because apparently I could not be trusted to be left alone at home) and well because it was something they did not tell me about before hand I did not have a nice time.

One of the parks that has access to lake Pupuke. I came to try windboarding. The park itself has quite a large area but it didn't take long to walk around it. There is a little path that goes around the front of the lake. The is also a walkway which was clsoed during the bird breeding season. The park has quite a lot of trees and benches so it was nice to just sit there in the shade and watch the people...

I was heading to Sylvia Park but I log on to Sylvan Park, so coming out 125 Onehunga Mall, GPS had me going towards Mt Albert areond and high way 16 and making my way to Sylvia Park that was a waste of time going around when I could have just cut thru mangere and make my way to Sylvia Park, will go to Sylvan Park one of these...
