Palmers Frankton — Attraction in Hamilton

My two friends and I were very rudely disrespected at this store. We were taking a look around the outside area. We decided to leave the store and once we had driven off the parking lot an elderly pale staff member had decided to take pictures of my car and number plate. I turned the car around and had parked up to talk to another staff member that had come out (a pale young lady) and had asked us what we were doing back here. She continued to ask us what we were doing then accused us of stealing some plants. We clearly didn’t, with wearing normal tight clothes on. We think it may have been a racist encounter being dark skinned people. We enjoyed the beautiful plants and place but we are just really sad about...

Reveiw for the Café The good: atmosphere was great, and the one staff member there was friendly (although not yet very good at her job - I like to think she was new and still learning the ropes) The bad: food is bland with a lot of syrup to try to hide this fact. We didn't eat much before giving up and deciding to just have a sandwhich when we got home. Drinks weren't great. Overall not a place I would ever return.

I still gave 3 stars because there was a cat in the shop sleeping...

Still a good plant store for basic seedlings with the healthiest baby plants I've seen in ages. Best variety around with a huge range. Bit sad towards the back with neglected stock and many trees lying down, blown over in the wind I guess and people too busy to stand them up. Fabulous cafe with 5 star service. Massive range of gardening supplementals, such as ferts, pots, hardware...
