After bad experiences in the past regarding the customer service we visited the Greenwood branch for lunch but they are are still spot on consistent with the bad service. Firstly, there was no one on the front counter to take our order. Thankfully the staff released after almost 10 minutes that one of their duty was to attend the customer so luckily the order was taken. We had ordered Cholle Bature, Aloo Paratha and Mithai Thali along with 1 lassi and 1 Buttermilk. The chaos begins now. The lassi given to us was not cold neither was the buttermilk it felt as if the yogurt used to make this was just kept outside of the fridge for along time for which the staff said "thanda nahi hai par garam bhi toh nahi haina". Then we released there was no butter on the Paratha. When we asked the the young gentlemen (who was on the phone talking) he asked as to wait for 5 mins and said he was on a whats app call and will deal with us later. We were like wow thats some sort of customer service. My Aunt just couldnt take it anymore and asked for the refund to which the guy replied "ha paise lekar jao, app jab sey aae ho tab sey he problem hai apko". My question to the owner or the management is that whether they think this is the right way to speak to your customers??? On the other hand we are regulars at Mithaiwala's - Sandringam and they are so hospitable and poles apart with their service. 2 years ago this was the same issue when me and my mates had gone down there. And yes on top of this the restaurant was a complete mess - I guess because the dude did not have enough time to do the necessary as he would definitely be on his WHATSAPP CALL which he cannot disconnect!!!!!. Read moreIf I had any other options, I would’ve give them less than one star. I ordered 4 Chole bhature at 6.10 and they said it will take 30 minutes to prepare. I went there after 45 minutes to collect my order. I waited 10 minutes looking all the staff they servings other people (someone even came after me) even though they saw me standing there. After 15 minutes standing there with no attention I asked them if it was ready or not. They said its all ready and pointed me to their payment counter. I was standing there another 10 minutes seeing the counter guy serving all the other people. Finally again I asked that guy if my order is ready or not? He said yes it is and asked the previous guy and he said ya its all ready. And he just walked away. I waited another 10 more minutes. And finally looking at those guys attending all the new people didn’t even show the manners saying what was happening with my order, when they said it will be ready in 30 minutes and now already more than one and half hour passed. I never experienced these kind of worst customer service in my life. I know it’s not gonna make any difference in putting my comments here. But hopefully if some of their owners see this and think about improving their staff attitude towards the customer, then It will be well...
Read moreWe have visited here 3 times now and understanding that they are relatively new, we thought we would give them a chance to settle in. Seems they have and it's not going so well. Our orders have been incorrect each time we have been here and the options have been limited, missing altogether or replaced with another dish without being informed. As we have spent time travelling and eating in India we are aware of what we are ordering and what should be served. Also they do not bring everything together when you order a Thali which is a little frustrating. The staff could be a little more informative and vocal about what's going on and let people know that there is also upstairs seating which sadly only gets you no service at all and/or you are soon forgotten. Oh and the downstairs toilets could really do with a good solid clean. They have so much potential and I hope they get there....
