Burger King Greenwood Street — Restaurant in Hamilton

Eat like a king,

I loved burgers and the meat in NZ tasted so good. Even Macdonald's surprises me with their burgers. I concluded that the fastfood restaurant, especially burger are above average compared to those that are from other Countries. And I have travelled quite a bit to qualify that. NZ has the best burgers.

So along the way to Hamilton, and we saw Burger King, I strongly suggest to my family to stop at one of my favorites burger joint. Our children were absolutely ecstatic.

When we walked into the restaurant we notice that the restaurant were not too full but the tables and floors were messy. The floor near the drink machine was wet and I witness a young boy slipped but thankfully he managed to hold on to the edge of the table and prevented himself from falling. His parents would have been devastated if he falls.

Honestly, the manager was friendly and welcoming but she was simply overwhelmed. When our burgers came, it did not disappoint us. The Double Yum were awesome but the presentation of the burgers were pathetic.There is absolutely no pride in the preparation. And the bacon in the burgers are as thin as tissue

How can anyone be eating like a king when the presentation and the environment does not fit for a king? I hope that the Management will seriously consider some changes to improve this branch. I hope by giving one Star rating will catch the...

WORST EXPERIENCE I've had at this burger king.. it honestly seemed like we were almost being pranked because I can't believe how bad it was. So we picked up our order, went home only to find the homestyle relish tendercrisp we ordered was instead some beef burger, with lettuce, HEAPS of red onion, cheese & mustard?? So we went back to collect the RIGHT burger.. only to discover it was WRONG again - this time basically the same thing as the beef one we got, but just with a chicken patty instead & with relish 🤬🤦‍♀️

THEN went back again, had to describe what was IN the homestyle relish tendercrisp as it seemed you guys had NO CLUE (it's chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomato, aioli, relish and bacon BTW 🙄) THIS TIME, it was ALMOST right except it had NO bacon, no aioli (forgot to take photo before I had added my own aioli seen in pic) and there were still lots of red onions which isn't even meant to be on the H.S Tendercrisp 🤷‍♀️ We gave up at that point and had gotten a refund, but COME ON! do better! How the heck can you KEEP messing up an order THREE TIMES!? Almost made us feel silly for wasting so much of our time. Won't be going back to greenwood st BK again but please LEARN your menu & do...

I ubered a combo from here to a hotel I'm staying at whilst in Hamilton and it was the worst. They forgot my straw and forgot my sauce for my nuggets which were extremely DRY AND HARD by the way. The chips had no salt on them and tasted like they'd been sitting for hours just like the nuggets. I complained to Uber and they said I wasn't even eligible for a partial refund ! Worst BK experience I've ever had.

Update one month later I'm back in Hamilton and just ordered another order through Uber, well they forgot the straw again!! I even messaged the Uber driver to ask for a straw and napkins and they still didn't give them. I know it's just a straw but I prefer to just drink out of the cup then pouring it into a glass, there's a straw hole on the cup for a reason. Also the burgers were actually pathetic... the buns and meat tasted like they'd been sitting there all night, I paid for extra mayo on the burgers and they gave less mayo than standard portion lol. The fries were the only decent thing about my order and even those were half full. PS I love BK and never complain about anything but this place is actually awful, never ordering again.
