As a top Google reviewer, I am always on the lookout for exceptional shopping experiences, and Foodie Asian Supermarket in Auckland truly delivers on every front. This supermarket is a haven for anyone seeking a diverse selection of Asian groceries, fresh produce, and specialty items that are often hard to find elsewhere.
The store is impeccably organized, making it easy to navigate through the vast variety of products. From traditional sauces, spices, and condiments to a wide range of noodles, snacks, and frozen foods, Foodie Asian Supermarket caters to all your culinary needs. Whether you’re a home cook looking for authentic ingredients or just someone exploring new flavors, this supermarket has you covered.
One of the standout features of Foodie Asian Supermarket is the freshness and quality of their produce and meat. The vegetables are crisp and vibrant, and the meat and seafood sections are well-stocked with a great selection that’s always fresh. It’s clear that the store takes pride in sourcing high-quality products, which sets it apart from many other supermarkets.
The pricing is very reasonable, offering great value for money, especially considering the quality and variety of products available. I was particularly impressed by the frequent promotions and deals, which make it even more affordable to stock up on essentials and explore new items.
Customer service here is top-notch. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help you find what you’re looking for or provide recommendations. Their welcoming attitude and willingness to assist really enhance the shopping experience, making you feel valued as a customer.
The store’s layout is clean and spacious, with clear signage that makes it easy to locate items. The check-out process is efficient, and the staff handle everything with professionalism and a smile.
Overall, Foodie Asian Supermarket is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves Asian cuisine or is simply curious to try something new. It’s more than just a supermarket—it’s a place that celebrates the rich and diverse flavors of Asian cooking. Highly recommended for all food enthusiasts and home...
Read moreI’ve always heard great things about Foodie from friends and online reviews, and up until now my own visits matched that—clean store, helpful staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, today changed my view completely. While shopping, I witnessed a woman in her 40s screaming at a young lady working at Wucha inside Foodie. She wasn’t just raising her voice—she was yelling so loudly that the entire supermarket could hear her. It was shocking, unprofessional, and extremely uncomfortable for customers around. This is the second time I’ve witnessed this same woman acting this way, and it is beyond unacceptable. Staff deserve respect. If Wucha management needs to correct or discipline staff, that should be done privately—not by humiliating someone in front of every customer in the store. What makes it worse is that no one from Foodie management stepped in to stop it, leaving customers like myself to watch a disgusting display of disrespect in what should be a professional environment. As a customer, I don’t want to come in and hear managers screaming at their staff. It ruins the shopping experience and leaves a terrible impression. Foodie has always been known for great service, but this woman’s behavior completely goes against that. She should be ashamed of herself, and Foodie should make sure this never...
Read moreCommon sense on the checkout process:
Firstly, who is your target market, Foodie? Mass or Niche? I thought Foodie provides excellent service and competitive prices in the market. I never pay too much attention to the prices, I visit here regularly because it's close to the Costco petrol station and the food stores inside are good. However, the checkout process always drives me nuts. I shop for my family, so I will have loads of stuff in my trolley that require more time to pack after scanning. The check-out person never allowed me to have a bit of time to pack my stuff, and I know it's not their responsibility to pack for me. But, in the other supermarket, they at least give you a bit of time to pack. I am a regular customer at Woolworths, even the Golden Apple ladies, when they saw you were busy packing, they helped you. This never happened at Foodie, the checkout person seems to only care about you paying and going, without providing any extra common sense customer service. I don't blame them, maybe they are required to process the checkout line asap. But, I am telling you, you will lose customers who care about service, and please consider improving this. I do want to come back to the shop, but if not, I am happy to move to other places to shop since there are heaps of options in...
