Pandora Shop - Privacy Act gone MAD - My family & I have purchased Pandora product from the time it arrived in New Zealand therefore over the years have spent a few thousand dollars. On Monday 25/02/19 I purchased a new charm & asked to credit it against my daughters account, which I have done since the start of our Pandora journey. The sales assistant obliged & was more than happy to put this through, on Wednesday 27/02/2019 I returned to the store to purchase another charm for my granddaughter & asked to have this also credited to my daughter's account. This time within two days I am told I am no longer allowed to do this due to privacy. I have to ask what other information does Pandora hold when I gave my daughter's DOB her phone number & her address? ? ? I must say I am now reluctant to give them any more custom & would prefer to give it to the jewelers John Franich a few doors along who has known my family & I for many years & has always credited purchases to my daughter's account & certainly gives what I know to be family customer service which I can not say for Pandora :( Irony: on reading the Pandora NZ Privacy Collection Statement Pandora will collect your personal information & may disclose your personal information to among others contractors, agents, government bodies & regularity authorities & to there service providers including outside NZ in accordance with privacy policy. !!! I have to ask where is my daughter's right to her privacy...
