It's a big park that borders other reserves like the Opanuku stream reserve. Most of the walkways are even and paved, but there are also reasonable "off road" tracks. It gets a bit muddy and slippery after rain, so maybe stick to the paved areas during those times. It's very dog friendly. Unfortunately the gate is closed because of lockdown, and there is very limited parking. There is a map that highlights some places of interest. Read moreThe park is lovely enough, as parks go. There is a huge field space, a nice dirt track around the edge which gives the feeling of being in the bush. Plenty of connections to streets, a public toilet (which could be far nicer), an exercise set up and a frisbee golf course throughout it.
