Zone Bowling & Timezone Henderson — Attraction in Henderson-Massey

After having a great experience a year ago, We were quite disappointed with the service this year. I have emailed multiple times with no response so now reviewing here.

From the get go the girl hosting (not sure of her name) behaved as if it was an inconvenience having to do my sons party. She made it clear that she had a long day starting at 10am and that her feet were sore so she wasn't in the mood which was a bit of a kill joy.

She made it clear she wasn't happy at 10 to 3 that all of the guests hadn't arrived - this is despite me discussing both via email and on the phone that we would likely run 15 minutes late. The lady I spoke to on the phone earlier in the week assured me it would be fine and was really lovely to talk to. The girl hosting Jaycob's party when I explained I'd confirmed we would run 15 minutes late rolled her eyes and then tried to guess who would have said this was okay - describing different staff members.

She was intolerant of the boys, including making comments about how loud they were (they were no louder than anyone else and just typical 9 and 10 year olds), and was getting annoyed at the boys being silly and having a laugh (normal for an excited group of 9/10 year olds).

Whilst eating she was getting grumpy at one of the boys for accidently spilling a drink and repeatedly said things like "omg they are so loud" and even said to a boy who was scrunching up his water bottle "stop that it's annoying" (after I had said it was fine to do as the boys were seeing who could make the bottle the smallest)

She didn't make an effort to learn our names - not even our sons who's birthday it was. Instead only calling us "the mum" "the dad" and "the boy"

Upon leaving she then ate the food - which we have no issue with it not going to waste but it was not a professional look whilst we were still there.

We also didn't recieve the drinks we paid for as part of our package

Hi there, We had a birthday party for our son yesterday at Henderson Timezone. There is some feedback that I wanted share. Our host was good and kind but looked like he was new to the job. Throughout the party for the 3hrs, we consistently had to prompt to ask for things. A family had to leave early so requested for take away. The drink bottles were forgotten. Birthday light up board has no batteries. Had to remind many times to get the knife, lighter, and cutlery for serving the cake. A day prior I asked if I needed to bring any cutlery such as plates, forks etc but I was told no, you provide those. However, when asked for the plates for cake, we were initially told you don't provide any. This had to asked multiple times and eventually got tiny plates that were given in batches for pizzas, cake and other food. Kids were served the hot dog n chips in a cheap platic mesh oval sized basket. This could have been a better quality. Atleast a paper plate or even a cardboard box. Even though the food was ordered a week in advance, the pizzas, and nachos had to be reminded 4 times by going at the counter. Was brought to the room after kids had finished their food and adults had given up. Would have been better with a host who was more proactive rather than repeated reminders at every step. 2. i asked the staffer about 1750 points in my misplaced card he simply said he wont be able to help and all points are lost upon persistent follow up with shift manager i was told card cane be re issued thats how i got my points back

After posting my last review i was told to reach out timezone team on email but they did not respond to couple of emails is sent

2 star review is due to experience at the location

Location : mist convenient location for people in west auckland , ample of car parks available new built and has bowling as well arcade games

1st issue we faced was incorrect pricing display there was promo mentioned on display in the arena that said get 120$ for every 60$ dollar loade on card but when i went to load the card i was informed that offer was no longer active and had expired i did not expect such mistakes at big franchise like time zone

2nd issue gifts that you get based on points you avail in the games were in correctly labelled , there were plush toys lablled as 200 points but when we wnt to checkout they turned out to be 1400 points .

After which we thought that if it is 1400 point lets get a different toy from the pile when we got the toy it turned out to be 3200 points

Not a great experince , not upto time...
