Read moreA very relaxing experience to visit the beach. We often walk on the beach or sit relaxing in the car or on the benches supplied. Great fun watching the furrys playing on the beach, and then on some days, the Lifesavers do their training in their rubber ducks and recovery of a person in danger. Great visit as we go down to the beach on a regular basis.
Even on a cloudy day like today, it's such a pleasure to sit and relax on a bench near the beach and enjoy a warm cup of coffee. Quite a few people enjoying their swim in the sea. Three boats are waiting out at sea to enter the port to offload their cargo
It's so good to see many people on the Beach while the weather is good. Great to watch the people on the beach and their animals. Tide was out, and unfortunately, some debris on the beach due to wash ups. Love the quite atmosphere on the Beach
Our go to area to just chill out and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Enjoyed watching the activities on the beach and the dogs enjoying themselves playing in the sea. Great relaxing atmosphere and a place to relax.

I see that the beach had been...
Read moreThis is a truly lovely place to enjoy a beautiful day. There is the beach to meander, plenty of dogs taking their owners for a walk. The beach is clean and very pretty. Trees and grass along with plenty of seating make it an idyllic place for a picnic or just to eat an ice cream from the close by ice creamery. There are bars, cafes, even a boutique brewery so a late brunch is well catered for. I can't think of a better place to spend time. My only gripe would be that an awful lot of people seem to share my opinion, which makes parking a challenge at times. Still, if you don't mind a short walk there is always parking by the shops and streets...
