Their quality is only average and now that countdown has reopened, their quality is often cheaper and better. Read moreI find the labeling a little dishonest, the other day they had "new season" apples and they were clearly a mixture of old and new. New season apples are not waxy and dull they are shiny and smooth. Also there is a lot of produce with organic stickers, but their own vege land organic stickers, I would like to know which organic farm they get their produce from, otherwise they could put a "organic" and "spray free" sticker on any old fruit and veges. Over the last 6 months or if we are in Milford we have been buying our vegetables and fruit at the independent green grocer there . That is because the quality often is better , prices comparable and in the case of tomatoes which we use a lot of better quality and often about 15% cheaper . Reality is we will still use Vegeland for 80% of our purchases but to get back to 5 stars from us would need above sorted. Great owners and staff ....
