Stockade Hill is a nice park, just to have some rest and relax overlooking an amazing view of sea and all surrounding. It is kind of small mountain have the view of 360 degree. The park entrance is on the Ridge Rd, just on turning of Mellons Bay Rd and closer to Howick City. At the middle of the park, there is a war memorizing tower. All the ground is greenish and maintains well. People come there to walk, run and to sit with sun bath and rest a while with the beautiful view.Very calm and quite. No many people coming and not crowded. Can stay hours looking at the sky and sea and the amazing view of surrounding.

I discovered Stockade Hill in Howick to be a hidden gem steeped in history and blessed with breathtaking views. Standing atop this quaint hill, the expansive sea and the stunning landscape captivated me—truly a feast for the eyes! The solemn war memorial there adds a profound depth, beautifully merging the past with the serene beauty around.

Awesome 360 view, will be back, awesome spot to sit and think. I spotted many empty benches to sit on. There are also a few trees that will offer some shad at the right time of day :) very quite and peaceful it was so relaxing today just sitting and watching the ocean.
