DO NOT COME ! This is my first 1 star comment but I hope there is a 0 star option. Used to be the place i always visited during high school but turns unbelievable bad and disgusting now. I am really disappointed by the terrible service and horrible food hygiene!
I eat a mass of long hair (which means it is long, knotted and a lot)mixed with the meatball spagatti. I gently called the male staff and quietly show him what is in my plate. He took away the plate immediately and said he will give me a new one. I asked him to change it to chicken one (but still same pasta and sauce type). Later on they gave me the new one and I found THE PASTA WAS COLD. They ruined the second chance I gave them. I called the male staff again and asked him whether the pasta was freshly made, whether they gave me the previous one. He didn’t answer my question but started to say he was not in charge. I asked him to call the manager over then. The manager is a lady and she was sitting in front of the store, drinking her coffee, instead of standing out and communicating with me when the first hair event started. I told her abt all of the things and she promised again that she will remake one. At the time I have already spent one hour in the horrible store, just waiting for an eatable lunch.
I am really disappointed by the terrible customer service and declining food quality. I definitely don’t want to come back again. The staffs r in need of training as they don’t know what they are doing. The food hygiene is supposed be improved. I am with my best temper but the place really driven me mad. Btw I still cannot understand why you guys can accidentally put such a mass of hair in the spaghetti. R the spaghetti cooked in the toilet bin? I am not expecting spending 30 dollars...
Read moreUTMOST DISGUSTING FOOD& SERVICE- we went for the first time since it was newly opened. We ordered 3 dishes for 3 people and the first dish arrived after 1/2 an hour, the 2nd dish after another 20 minutes and then kept waiting for the 3rd dish by reminding several times and did not arrive. Waited for about 1.5 hour in the restaurant so in the end decided to leave without eating the last dish and my daughter had to go out and buy from another restaurant. The dishes were overly priced and the taste was pathetic, not even work $2 but paid over $30 for each of those 2 dishes, total spent was $84.50. The chicken would need a hammer to break with and really iron teeth if you dare to eat. The Caesar salad was only leaves and you will really have to search for rashers in it and if you find one then consider yourself lucky. When asked where are the eggs and I was told that has been invisibly grated. That salad costed $30 as had to add chicken separately . No one sells that expensive salad which was just in the name of leaves and nothing else. The restaurant aircon temperature was making you shiver and that was not a comfortable seating. I saw everyone leaving their dishes in plates and some even left without eating. The staff was unable to answer and just said , it’s busy. Well, busy is a good sign but that does not mean that you serve rotten food and pathetic service. It was busy because you were new but as soon as you have eaten once, you will never come back. Please if you are trying for the first time, I would suggest not to go to this place as you will repent and your money will be a big waste. CLOSE DOWN THIS PLACE as such a waste of...
Read moreMy partner and I had one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had at Pastarita Newmarket on Sunday, May 4th. We booked through First Table for 8pm and ordered two entrées (dynamite prawns and garlic potato soup) and two mains (mushroom risotto with chicken and the carbonara).
The prawns were average, the soup tasted old and stale — but we let it slide. Once the mains arrived, we couldn’t eat more than a bite. Both dishes were dry, bland, cold, and honestly tasted like they had been reheated from earlier in the day. We politely asked if we could be refunded for the mains since we couldn’t eat them — happy to pay for the entrees and drinks. The manager (Eman) refused and claimed we couldn’t get a refund because we booked through First Table, which is not true. We double-checked and found that refund policies are up to the restaurant.
When my partner calmly asked him about this, Eman told us we had "inconvenienced" his staff by booking late — while people were still arriving and being seated after us. Then his wife suddenly stood up from their table, started yelling at us, and said things like: “Get out,” “You should just leave then,” and “You’re just wanting an argument.” My partner asked her to stop yelling and said she was scaring us — to which she responded, “Yeah? Well then get out.”
We were shocked, humiliated, and left feeling unsafe and ripped off. This place is unprofessional, the food is poor quality, and they treat paying customers with no respect. Definitely not a true Italian dining experience — and absolutely not worth the time,...
