Gorgeous, dramatic, black sand beach with view of the mountains. Huge undertow so not swimmable. Plus side of not being swimmable is that it was empty when I visited. Saw a pod of dolphins near the shore!! Spectacular. Easy access...

Keine Menschenseele. Kilometer langer Strand ohne eine einzige Person. Wenn man sowieso auf Grund vom Whale Watching in Kaikoura ist, einfach hier noch etwas spazieren gehen.
