Unclean, expensive, not going back.
This used to be our regular place to stop with our young children while driving through but we are now looking elsewhere. There are toilets and a place to sit down and eat, and good car parking.
On the negative side, the place has been dirty every time we have been there. Tables and chairs are greasy and sticky. Food is not frequently cleared from tables, and we saw a staff member throwing food scraps to the birds outside. The toilets are usually clean but the facilities are old and worn out. They are better than the public toilets, but not by much.

Read moreMeal fine, But the tour bus group, either Korean or Chinese they entertain where just disgusting, after they finished their meal they brought icecreams and threw litter on the pavement outside restaurant, threw eaten gray fish shells to the seagulls and did Lourd sounding spits gurling disgusting noises from the back of their throats, within meters of the entrance way. Honestly a complete lack of respect for NZ & not so nice when your eating food on the tables provided outside. Read moreHilarious. Came here because coopers round the corner had a 1 hour wait. Staff were pleasant enough although have minimal English. As soon as the lady on the till popped back to the kitchen... fireworks! Her and the Chinese Gordon Ramsey having a 20 minute argument at the tops of their voices. The punters who were eating in stared in silence, the mandarin explosions even louder than the rattling filter on the crayfish tank. This entertained us until our fish and chips were ready.
