Staff seem to be very helpful and all however, after breaking my gun I had just bought from them they needed to send it to Christchurch for repairs, promised me it would be priority shipping for my inconvenience, after about 3 days the repair had been completed, after 2 weeks I was told it was in store and ready for me to pickup so I drove a 4 hrs round trip to pick it up only to find out it was still in Christchurch. I was then promised it would be there for the next weekend and upon calling the store a week later to make sure it was there before I went to pick it up, I was told it is still in Christchurch, I asked for a refund but instead they offered me the the same gun but one they had in store which is what I got along with one of their cheapest boxes of ammo as “compensation”. I was happy to finally get my gun, sighted it in over the weekend however upon inspection once home the scope rings have obviously not been tightened correctly and the scope has moved so I cannot trust it being perfectly in sight thus causing me to miss out on hunting this next weekend. Also have friends who have experience scopes and rings not being assembled correctly.

Staff are always kind and go the extra mile to assist with any knowledge, question or query. I had a very old shotgun which needed a minor repair however the part required was not made by the supplier anymore. One member of staff (Gavin I believe) at Gun city took the shotgun and called gunsmiths all over the country to find the part.

Was expecting a bill in the hundreds which would have been fair but it only cost $85.00.
