Middle of summer in Nelson so always a hotspot. Arrived around midday and there was plenty of parking at the main inlet. Playground was pretty well laid out and the low lying tress made for a great environment for the kids. 2 toilets located close by and a few wash down areas for coming straight off the beach. Not too many "freedom campers" which is always a good sign. Oh and there was a big bouncy castle playground, water slides, go karts, laser tag, food vans, ice cream vans......list goes on. It's a family hang out venua since it has lots of types of playgrounds in this area that suit 1yrs and above .it has skate board,basketball and so on. Since it is located next to a beach so it comes with a changing area as well as the toilets. Plus nearby has KFC and a big football field.
