I first went to burger culture around two weeks after they first opened, at the time I ordered fries and a vegan burger. My fries were served to me near cold and at a guess they must of been sitting for some time after being cooked. My burger lacked flavour and the base of the bun was soggy to the point where I only ate a quarter of it and ate all my cold fries instead.
I returned last night to give the place a second chance as I put my first experience down to teething problems of a new business. I ordered exactly the same as my first visit, this time they were off to a good start as my fries were served first and were perfect. Sadly I could not say the same about the burger, it was exactly the same as the first visit, this time I sucked it up and ate three quarters of it. In hindsight I should have handed it back to them and asked for a refund because I ended up vomiting it up when I arrived home.
This business prides themselves on making an excellent gourmet burger, the reality is, I can buy a much better vegan burger from a certain fish and chip shop in Richmond for nearly half the price of theirs.

We arrived quite late to a very busy store and took a seat waiting for a booth to come free. We ordered whilst waiting but got told that unfortunately the milkshakes were not available (which was reasonable considering it wasn’t too far off closing time.). My daughter who had been looking forward to one (we’d planned our visit for a while as we’re down from Auckland) was quite upset - but we ordered other drinks and carried on waiting.
The amazing waitress who was looking after us and consistently apologising for not being able to seat us at a booth quickly had clearly noticed my daughter wasn’t happy and came over to tell us they had decided to do milkshakes after all.
We managed to get seated just as food arrived (along with more apologies from our super attentive server) and it was awesome - everyone loved it and we wished you guys were up in Auckland!
Thank you so much for great food and amazing service....

It was a Saturday night and the place was extremely busy with takeaway orders crowding the entry and reserved tables everywhere. We decided to order takeout and if a table came up while we waited we would eat in.
The house staff were very positive and managed the premises well, I didn't see any sign of frustration which is rare in a busy atmosphere.
We ordered a total of 3 burgers and 3 different types of fries. The burgers were amazing. The fries were a meal on their own. I would have been happy with a small side of fries with the burger.
I enjoyed the fact i could have a pint of beer with my meal which consisted of local handcraft beer. This was accompanied by various non-alchaholic beverages.
For our kids I noticed there were $2 lolly bags on the counter which were a nice small sweet treat following a savory burger instead...
